Infinite Martial Arts Philosophy
We are a Martial Arts studio that believes in the value of teaching multiple disciplines. This includes Taekwondo, Judo, Jiu-jitsu, and for more experienced students, Boxing and Muay Thai. Each of these arts contributes different skills and each one forms a pillar for the foundation of learning Martial Arts.
Our programs use Martial Arts as a basis for developing physical fitness, coordination, and keeping safe in all situations. All students are taught self-defense, stranger danger awareness, and how to cautiously respond to a bully.
Our teaching philosophy focuses on developing self-confidence and personal character – in particular, the values of discipline, focus and respect. Showing respect to your parents, your teachers and your classmates, as well as showing focus in class, at home, and at school are an important part of the program and a student’s progression.
Belt testings are a significant event for our studio. We believe the journey in Martial Arts is one that takes time. The belt worn by students represent their skills and ability in multiple disciplines of Martial Arts and the consistent application of discipline, focus and respect both in the studio and outside it. Belt testings are not based on a set time frame, but rather a student’s individual progress.
Most of our younger students are white and yellow belts and this represents the start of their journey in building a foundation of core values and skills in Martial Arts which we hope will continue into adulthood and the senior belt levels.
