We are a family focused community in the Marina District of San Francisco that teach children, teenagers, and adults the fundamentals of martial arts.
Our programs for all ages and levels of experience focus on developing the foundation needed for self-defense while also improving physical fitness and coordination. Our friendly staff are passionate about implementing the development of self-confidence and personal character in each and every student. At Infinite Martial Arts, we balance high energy classes while also incorporating our values of discipline, focus, and respect.
Students are taught to be confident in themselves and their martial arts by setting attainable goals. Through engaging exercises and the support of their peers, students are able to learn the forms, kicks, and punches that are essential in martial arts.

I brought my 12-year old niece here to learn martial arts from the best. James at Infinite is an amazing instructor. He connects with the kids and has a wonderful ability to get on their level. James' experience in martial arts really pays off when he teaches the children the principles of martial arts including respect and discipline---something my niece could use a little help with :)
My niece left after her first lesson elated. She couldn't wait for her next lesson! I recommend all parents to bring their kids to Infinite and learn martial arts from James---a true professional.

James and Stefan are world class martial arts instructors. I had no prior background in martial arts and started BJJ training with Stefan this year with private lessons and in his group sessions. The learning curve is steep...I’m learning a lot every time I go and get to train with beginners like me as well as higher level belts. I highly recommend Infinite Martial Arts.

I've trained at many martial arts studios, and know what makes one great. Infinite has it all. James Hidalgo, the owner, has created a wonderful gem for our community. He is super talented, is great with kids, and understands and shares the most valuable aspects of martial arts.. mutual respect, character, humility and confidence.
His Tae Kwon Do is world class, and he has extended the school by bringing in top rank instructors in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, boxing, kickboxing, and fitness, like Stephan Solomon. If you are looking for your kids to learn values while getting fit and building confidence, this is the place. Looking for a small gym and a private fitness trainer, this place is perfect. If you are an adult (like me), and think you might like to try adding martial arts to your lifestyle, there is nowhere more accommodating, inviting, or safe to try it out. Wish I could give it 6 stars.

I highly recommend the adult Taekwondo classes at Infinite Martial Arts. James is an exceptional instructor with a ton of skill and experience, and his classes are both fun and challenging. He has a great teaching style and explains techniques in a way that you can understand and relate to.
The classes are for students at all ages and skill levels - whether you are a white belt learning the basics or a black belt refining your technique, James will push you to new levels you wouldn't have thought you were capable of. Plus you will get a workout which combines cardio with flexibility, strength training and self-defense.
I encourage anyone who wants to learn a martial art in a great environment to try out the classes.

One of the best martial arts schools in San Francisco! Thanks to awesome teachers, Mr. Jaime Hidalgo, Mrs. Sascha O'meara and Mr. Berry, for not just teaching our child how to be strong, but shaping him as a personality, and teaching him how to be confident, respectful and successful!
